BRID uses a powerful cleaning technology called Photocatalytic Oxidation (PCO). BRID's ceramic filter, which is permanently bound with doped nano Titanium Dioxide (TiO2), absorbs radiation from a precisely calibrated LED board and attacks pollutant molecules, breaking apart their chemical bonds and turning them into harmless substances. The typical drawback of photocatalytic purifiers is that they use UV light, which produces ozone, that is, in itself, a toxic air pollutant. By using LED visible lights only, thanks to our exclusive TiO2 recipe, BRID is the first truly ozone free photocatalytic air purifier.

Unlike other filters on the market, BRID doesn’t physically trap pollutants but breaks them down into harmless particles. This allows BRID to get rid of harmful substances regardless of their size. Mechanical filters like HEPA collects dangerous substances with the risk of releasing them in the air you breath when they get over saturated. Our L.E.A.P. technology doesn’t merely trap pollutants and bacteria, it ‘vaporizes’ them.

BRID’s ceramic filters are the key components of L.E.A.P. Technology. Our trademark process permanently bounds doped TiO2 nano particles to a precisely engineered ceramic matrix. The porosity of the surface allows to multiply the active surface of the filter, ensuring an unprecedented efficiency for a filter this size. BRID's filters last 15 years, simply regenerate them with water to bring them back to their original state.

BRID becomes a
Carbon-Monoxide detector

With our optional CO Guardian module, you can always monitor the concentration of Carbon Monoxide in your environment through BRID’s App. A smart alarm will warn you if the level of CO exceedes a dangerous limit.

Brid vs. CO

A Brid unit was placed in 0.5 cubic meter hermetic reactor complete with a gas injection system and a electrochemical cell analyzer for the quantification of CO in the air. (resolution 1ppm)

BRID vs. NOx

A brid unit was placed inside a 1 cubic meter laboratory glove box that was polluted with a highly concentrated amount of NOx gas (100 ppb). The test was conducted by measuring the air quality wtih a chemiluminescence Thermo 42 I every 10 seconds.
